Review: The title of the film would not have necessarily caught my eye, but I am glad I seen this film, courtesy of a preview performance. It had to be good and Colin Firth plays the Duke of York, to be later George VI, and he let the audience down. Lets not forget other main characters, Lionel Logue, played by Geoffrey Rush, Helena Bonham Carter as the Duchess of York, Michael Gambon as George V and Timothy Spall as Winston Churchill - all absolutely for their respective roles perfectly. Both dates may not have been quite right in the film, the film tells the story perfectly, sometimes humorous and sensuality and safe, and I would like to live in a way that does not cause any embarrassment fo , r all surviving members of the royal family or even those who from what must be a very difficult condition to live with suffering. Certainly a film I would recommend to friends and sisters. |
