Review: Im a sucker for Shakespeare, but I like it better in the theater. However, this held my attention and did a great job of upgrading the entire family to fight. The film opens with a fight between the Capulets and Montegues. Prince warns them when they disturb the peace of life again and again to pay the forfeiture of the room. We are then introduced to the character of Romeo, played by Leonardo DeCaprio. Leo has a good job, like Romeo, but that's because Leo is a good actor in this movie. Soon we meet Juliet, who played by the lovely Claire Danes, who have seen too many movies. Danes does a good job playing flirty Juliet. The film's original screenplay very closely. The symbolism is also very good in the movie. If you think you'll weapons that some say that the sword looks, some say, Rapier, and I think some people say dagger. Montegues always Hawaiian shirt styles. The Capulets dress like gangsters or clubs, but the two sides can be seen as a batsman in one way or another. In any event, each family contributes a certain type of clothing that is easy to say someone makes. I love the large part of the event. Romeo and Juliet wears angel wings wearing a knight costume. Romeo's best friend (and wish we could write his name, but I'd rather not kill him) disguises himself as a woman. So, to explain this form of symbolism, for those who arent getting his Romeo knight in armor shine angel Romeo and Juliet Romeo and dream best friend is comic relief. There's other things you can see at the party too as Tybalt wearing devil horns (that hes a bad guy). Both families also will notice they are rich, which also follows the script exactly. Overall, if you are a fan of Shakespeare fan're romantic movies, fan films tragic if you are a fan of art films and then make sure to look at it. It will sweep you're feet, you laugh, cry, and make you fall in love. |
