Review: If I could sum up this movie in one sentence, it would be this: Will Go. Will Smith was the driving force behind I Am Legend. His performance as Dr. Robert Neville is impeccable. Living in an abandoned New York City, his actions like Tom Hanks in the waste, but instead of the retina, dolls, and loyal German Shepherd named Sam. Basement, retro-equipped, technologically advanced laboratories to find a cure for the disease, which has set the entire population of the planet into a mutant, zombie-like, mind, bloodthirsty monster, and, for some reason, Robert is immune. His days spent hunting. His dream night with powerful weapons and hoping that the mutants did not find it. After starting the film was well placed flashbacks that show what happened to the family of Roberts, and because it is there. The film is weakening slightly at the end, maybe the last five minutes, but it does not spoil the plot or acting invested.
